Huaxia Chinese School of Lehigh Valley Celebrates Chinese New Year at the Library!
Our Chinese New Year story time at the Bethlehem Area Public Library was a roaring success! Over 80 people joined us for this special occasion, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Our two graduates and wonderful culture class teachers, Hanning and Laura, took the stage to read enchanting stories to both kids and adults. It was a delightful time filled with laughter and cultural exploration.
But the fun didn’t stop there! Kids and adults alike immersed themselves in Chinese paper cutting and calligraphy, creating beautiful patterns and the character 福 (fu), symbolizing good luck and good fortune. These lovely creations are now ready to adorn homes, bringing positive energy into the new year.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a tremendous success! Wishing you all a year filled with prosperity, happiness, and cultural exploration.
