Spring Surprises at Huaxia: Magic, Math and AI!

This spring, Huaxia Chinese School of Lehigh Valley turned into a wonderland of knowledge!

🤖 On March 23, we welcomed Professor Qin Lu from Lafayette College for a mind-blowing Community Talk on Machine Learning, Math, and Intuition. Through lively examples, Professor Lu made complex AI concepts accessible and exciting, inspiring many students to dive deeper into math and programming!

🎩 On April 6, the Mathlete Challenge Club hosted a special Math and Magic event featuring guest magician Isaac Reiter, a Ph.D. student at Lehigh University. Using Rubik’s cubes and playing cards, Isaac amazed a full house with incredible illusions — each trick cleverly rooted in math! After the show, a Rubik’s Cube craze swept through the school!
